Leni Robredo was vice president of the Philippines from the second half of 2016 to the first half of 2022. From 2017 to 2022, the budget of the Office of the President (OVP) averaged ₱656.3 million. When Sara Duterte took over the vice presidency in 2022, the budget of the OVP for 2023 reached ₱2.3 billion. This amount excludes the controversial ₱125 million confidential fund, which was spent in just 11 days. As of this writing, Vice President Sara Duterte has proposed a budget of ₱2.037 billion for the Office of the Vice President (OVP) for 2025. This represents an increase from the current year's budget of ₱1.885 billion.
